Cricket Betting Markets
Which markets can you bet on in BPL, T20 World Cup, and IPL? Here is an introduction to the common betting markets.
Match Winner
Bet on which of the two teams will win the match. Example: choose either team in a Bangladesh vs India match.
Toss Winner
Bet on which team will win the toss. This is entirely luck-based and the result is known before the match begins.
Top Batsman
Bet on which batter will score the most runs in the match. You can select the top scorer within one team or across the entire match.
Total Runs Over/Under
Bet on whether the total runs scored in an innings or the full match will be above (over) or below (under) a set line.
Runs per Over / Session Bet
Bet on how many runs will be scored in a specific over or during the powerplay session. Ideal for quick results and live betting.
Method of Dismissal
Bet on how the next wicket will fall — bowled, caught, run out, or LBW. This market rewards a deep knowledge of cricket.
Man of the Match
Bet on which player will be the best performer of the match. Both batting and bowling performances are taken into account.
How Live In-Play Odds Change
During a match, odds update instantly whenever a wicket falls or runs come quickly. If a team gets off to a strong start in the powerplay, their odds shorten while the opposition's lengthen. Experienced bettors use these shifts to place bets at the right moment.

Betting Glossary / Terminology
Some important terms commonly used in the world of online betting and casinos, with simple explanations.
RTP (Return to Player)
The theoretical rate at which a game returns a percentage of total bets to players over the long term. A higher RTP is generally more favorable for the player.
House Edge
The mathematical advantage the casino holds in every game is called the house edge. The lower it is, the more favorable the game is for the player.
Wager / Wagering Requirement
The wagering requirement refers to how much you need to bet before withdrawing a bonus. A 25x wagering requirement applies to bonuses at ak66.
Stake
The amount of money you place on a single bet is called the stake. A stake can be small or large, but always bet within your means.
Odds
A mathematical expression of the probability of an event occurring, which determines the payout. Odds of 2.0 in decimal format means you win double your stake.
Parlay / Accumulator
A method of combining multiple bets into one. If all bets are correct, the reward multiplies many times over, but if one is wrong, the entire bet is lost.
Live Bet / In-Play
The ability to place bets while a match or game is in progress is called live betting or in-play betting. Odds change at every moment.
Cash Out
The option to exit a bet before the match ends. This may mean a smaller profit, but it reduces the risk of a total loss.
Bankroll
The total funds set aside for betting or gaming is called a bankroll. The core of responsible gaming is not going beyond your set bankroll.
Volatility
The variation in the frequency and size of wins in a slot game is called volatility. High volatility means less frequent but larger wins; low volatility means smaller but more frequent wins.
Free Spin
The opportunity to spin for free in a slot game is called a free spin. It is usually awarded through scatter symbols or bonus triggers and increases winnings.
Spread
The expected margin between two teams is called the spread. In spread betting, you need to win by more or less than the set margin to win the bet.
